Michelin North America released a new "extreme performance tire" under its BFGoodrich brand – and will sell it direct to consumers online through The Tire Rack.
The BFGoodrich G-Force Rival targets "a growing market of drivers seeking extreme performance tires which are versatile enough to be used in auto-cross and track-day events then driven home."
The new tire carries a UTQG treadwear rating of 200, and will be launched in 15 sizes covering 15- through 20-inch wheel diameters.
MNA said the G-Force Rival "was designed for track level abuse while providing drivability on the street," and is "predictable, allowing drivers to turn faster lap times, and turn heads on the street."
