Miami-based Tire Group International has join the "Movember movement" and is challenging male employees and customers to grow moustaches to raise awareness and funds for men’s prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.
"Movember" is supported by the Prostate Cancer Foundation and many other groups, “to change the face of men’s health issues making sure world-class programs in the areas of awareness and education, survivorship and research are being supported,” TGI said.
“We are proud to be associated with Movember and TGI wants to be an inspiration to all team members and inspire the tire industry to be part of this important cause,” said Joaquin Gonzalez Jr., chief marketing officer. “We believe is important to start a conversation about men’s health issues, specially in this industry where so many men are a part of. We have understood that simply by growing a mustache, we can change lives.”
