Tenneco Launches Rebate for Consumers, Dealers

Tenneco will offer prepaid debit cards valued at up to $120 to qualifying automotive service professionals who help restore the steering, stopping and stability characteristics of their customers’ vehicles with Monroe shock absorbers, struts and related ride control products.

From April 1 through May 31, members of the Tenneco Expert Plus dealer loyalty program will be able to earn debit cards valued at $30, $60, $90 or $120 for qualifying sales of Monroe Reflex and Sensa-Trac shocks and struts, Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies, Monroe Gas-Magnum shocks, and Monroe Strut-Mate mounting kits.

In addition, the company is sponsoring a consumer-targeted “Take Control” promotion that will provide mail-in cash rebates of up to $150 to customers who purchase qualifying ride control products during April or May.

“Our consumer offer will help drive customers to Expert Plus member shops, while the trade promotion will reward professionals for growing their ride control business,” said Sheryl Bomia, North American programs manager, Tenneco. “Consumers are looking for ways to save money while extending their vehicle’s service life; the ‘Take Control’ promotion offers the right rewards to help close more sales.”
