Tenneco has expanded its Monroe Max-Lift line of direct OE replacement and universal lift supports by more than 90 parts and announced plans to introduce 75 additional SKUs in early 2015.
According to the maker, the gas-charged Max-Lift supports are engineered to replace the worn OE spring lifts used to raise trunk and hatchback lids, lift gates, rear glass panels and hoods. Tenneco also offers universal-fit supports for use on truck caps, large toolbox lids and other applications.
“We made a commitment to establish the Monroe brand as a leader in the lift support category back in 2012 and our investment in coverage and a high-quality product have enabled us to achieve that,” said Bill Dennie, Tenneco director of ride control channel management for the North American aftermarket. “This comprehensive line enables current Monroe ride control customers to rely on one supplier for a broad range of products and to expand into a very promising parts and service category.”
Each Monroe Max-Lift unit is engineered for a fast, precise fit and exceptional performance and reliability. Max-Lift supports feature a high-pressure nitrogen gas charge, nitro-carburized rod for enhanced durability and a specially designed rod guide that helps reduce abrasion damage that could result in premature failure of some competing products, Tenneco said.
