TBC Wholesale Upgrades Sailun Warranty

TBC Wholesale has upgraded its Sailun medium radial truck tire warranty.

The upgraded warranty includes:

• Free tire replacement period extended to 50% of the original tread life if the tire becomes unserviceable due to workmanship or material defects.

• All Sailun brand medium truck tire’s limited warranty coverage has been extended to 60 months against defects in workmanship or materials. The warranty has been extended to 72 months for all Sailun’s SmartWay verified tires, designated by the “EFT” Environmentally Friendly Technology logo.

• Casing allowances have increased and are consistent for the both first and second retread.

Bridgestone invests in Yoshi Mobility to expand into virtual inspection, EV charging

Yoshi is also commercializing its mobile EV charging platform to address EV fleet charging challenges.

Yoshi Mobility recently closed its $26 million Series C funding round. The round includes strategic investors General Motors Ventures and Bridgestone Americas, as well as international investors Universal Motors Agencies and Shikra Limited. Launched out of Y Combinator in 2016, the company is also backed by ExxonMobil, DN Automotive, NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, and NFL legend Joe Montana. Yoshi Mobility has raised more than $60 million to date. In addition to scaling its core business, the company said Series C funding enables it to expand three new business lines: preventative maintenance, virtual vehicle inspections and electric vehicle (EV) charging.
