Ernie Rodia, who joined Titan in 2005 as COO after retiring from Goodyear following a 37-year career there, will be retiring from Titan as of Oct. 31. No successor was named. Rodia will stay on as a consultant, Titan said.
Titan’s board extended the employment contract of Taylor for an additional two years until 2012, and extended the employment contracts for Vice President of Finance and Treasurer Kent Hackamack and Vice President and Chief General Counsel Cheri Holley through 2013.
In other moves, Titan named Thomas DeNoi as vice president of quality, and will be responsible for developing quality wheel and tire systems for Titan’s facilities. He had been operations manager of the Bryan, Ohio, plant since joining Titan in 2006 from Continental Tire North America.
Tom Jagielski, formerly the curing production manager for Titan’s Bryan OTR plant, has been promoted to fill DeNoi’s position as operations manager. (Tire Review/Akron)
