Standard Motor Products will award two students a $5,000 scholarship each as part of its Intermotor Import Leader Automotive Scholarship Contest.
“At SMP, we are dedicated to investing in the future of our industry,” said Phil Hutchens, vice president engine management marketing at SMP. “Our Intermotor Import Leader Automotive Scholarship is an exciting opportunity to recognize and support student technicians who share Intermotor’s quest for import excellence.”
The contest, which runs now through July 31, asks students to complete an online questionnaire and submit at current photo at intermotorimport.com/scholarship. Entries will be evaluated based on relevance, creativity and thoughtfulness relating to the automotive import industry, SMP said.
Eligible entrants must be between the ages of 18 and 34 and currently enrolled full-time in high school or in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or post-high school educational program. Additionally, entries must have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average.
