Construction has begun on CMA’s newest distribution center in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
The company held a formal groundbreaking event, attended by city councilmen, CMA executives, developer DCT Industrial and property management executives from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
The company’s new warehouse and distribution center will be situated on approximately six acres near the intersection of 8th Street and Vineyard Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga. The finished facility will occupy more than 129,000 square feet of under roof storage.
CMA said the state-of-the-art building design includes dock-high and grade level bay doors with stalls for parking additional trailers. To achieve a lower carbon footprint, natural lighting and exhaust systems are integrated into the building’s design.
“We are excited about beginning this project, and what its completion means for the future growth of Double Coin. Rancho Cucamonga is an ideal and strategic location to support our expanding distribution needs,” said Aaron Murphy, vice president of CMA. “We are aggressively pushing to have this facility completed by November, so we can have it up and running before the New Year.”
