Tenneco said its new series of Rancho Loaded QuickLift suspension technology, introduced at the company’s Global Tire Expo/SEMA Show booth (#25031), is designed to simplify installation and increase business opportunities for traditional service shops.
The new Rancho Loaded QuickLift units – which now include the application-matched and installed coil spring and upper mounting plate – can be installed quickly and require no aggressive investment in equipment or training, the company said.
“The new Loaded QuickLift is completely assembled straight out of the box, making it easy for technicians to complete fast installs without extra training or the shop’s investment in specialized equipment,” said Joe Pase, general manager of Rancho. “We’re giving traditional service shops the opportunity to tap into the light truck and SUV ride control category.”
Based on the original QuickLift, the Loaded QuickLift units provide 1 to 2.5. inches of additional lift, allowing for the use of larger wheel and tire packages. The units clear tires up to 35 inches, offer a limited lifetime warranty and come in a “liquid metallic” silver finish.
When combined with the Rancho MyRide Wireless Controller, Loaded QuickLift units can be wirelessly controlled from the cab. The wireless controller provides one-touch wireless damping control of QuickLift units. It includes a variety of one-touch presets, including highway, sport, tow/haul, off-road, and a driver-determined MyRide, which allows the owner to set his own preferred ride setting and save it for future use.
