Radar Rolls Out Renegade All-Terrain Tire

Omni United has introduced the Radar Renegade A/T, which it said is a highly versatile all-terrain tire that has been "optimized to create a harmonious balance between ride comfort and good handling capabilities."

With a premium sidewall and tread design, the Radar Renegade A/T features independent siped tread blocks, giving drivers confidence “to drive through challenging situations with confidence even in wet and winter conditions,” the tiremaker said.

In the first phase of its launch, the Renegade A/T will be available in five popular sizes, with more added to the range at a later date. The tire comes with a five-year manufacturing warranty.

The Renegade A/T will be unveiled at the at Omni United USA booth (43225) at the upcoming Global Tire Expo/SEMA Show. The tiremaker also will be showcasing its all-new Rivera range and a new member to the RPX-series – the budget performance tire for smaller passenger vehicles – the all-new RPX700, both slated for launch in January 2013.

Ascot Supply Corporation, based in Newnan, Georgia, has selected Mark Paquette for the newly created position of vice president. In this position, Ascot Supply said Paquette will oversee the growth of the company's products, corporate profitability, manage marketing and advertising and assume many other responsibilities.

He will work under the direction of current President David Kessler and officially begin his new role on June 3. Paquette joined the tire and automotive industry in the early 1980s at his father's tire shop, and his contributions to Mohawk Rubber Sales were instrumental in the company's growth and eventual sale to Myers Tire Supply in 2021, according to Ascot Supply. Paquette eventually was given a promotion to the role of director of operations at Myers Tire Supply.
