Similar to the U.S.’s National Tire safety Week (Apr. 22-28), RAC’s annual Be Tire Smart Campaign is designed to educate Canadian motorists on the benefits of tire maintenance and its contribution to the environment and our families’ safety on the road.
RAC said that a recent study showed that 70% of Canadians are driving on at least one mis-inflated tire of which 23% are underinflated by 20% or more.
Canadian tire retailers can register for the campaign at www.betiresmart.ca and will receive educational materials to distribute to consumers and motorists.
