Omni United Pte. has donated $250,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation as a result of its 2011 Radar Mobilizing Hope campaign.
The Singapore-based company also announced the launch of its 2012 Radar Mobilizing Hope program, renewing its corporate sponsorship of the BCRF with a fundraising goal of $1 million.
To reach that amount, Omni United will donate $1 per four Radar brand tires sold, with a committed minimum donation of $250,000.
According to G.S Sareen, Omni United CEO and president, the tire company created its Ring of Hope signature pink sidewall tire, which will be available to retailers later this year.
“The Ring of Hope is another, more visible way in which Omni and Radar tires are supporting BCRF, by raising both money and awareness in our communities,” said Sareen. “At Omni we believe in giving back to society. By partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, we and our customers have an opportunity to make a difference.”
Founded in 2003, Omni United offers a range of passenger, light truck/SUV, medium truck and farm tires, through its four brands: Radar, Goodride, Roadlux and Corsa.
Omni United sales for 2011 reached $180 million, the company said.
