New Uniroyal Contests Give Dealers Two Ways to Win

Michelin North America recently launched its Uniroyal Ticket to Travel Dealer Contest and the New Tire Sweepstakes.

Both contests run from July 1 to Aug. 31, giving dealers the opportunity to win a variety of prizes from a dream vacation to cash.

“This is a busy year for the Uniroyal brand,” said Duane Thomas, Uniroyal brand category manager. “These contests help support our new products launching this year and further solidify our relationships with dealers.”

For the Ticket to Travel Dealer Contest, any dealer that places a Uniroyal tire order between July 1 and Aug. 31 will be automatically entered to win. The top 20 dealers will be chosen based on highest percentage of growth in all Uniroyal tire purchases during the contest period.

Five grand prize winners will be awarded a trip of their choice from a list of destinations such as Aruba or the Bahamas; five first place winners will be awarded a trip of their choice from a list of destinations inside the continental U.S. and 10 second place winners will be awarded a $500 cash prize.

For every set of four Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTZ All season tires or new Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring T-rated tires purchased between July 1 and Aug. 31, dealers will receive one entry into the New Tire Sweepstakes. A random drawing will be held at the end of the contest period and 10 dealers will receive a cash prize of $1,000 each.

Ascot Supply Corporation, based in Newnan, Georgia, has selected Mark Paquette for the newly created position of vice president. In this position, Ascot Supply said Paquette will oversee the growth of the company's products, corporate profitability, manage marketing and advertising and assume many other responsibilities.

He will work under the direction of current President David Kessler and officially begin his new role on June 3. Paquette joined the tire and automotive industry in the early 1980s at his father's tire shop, and his contributions to Mohawk Rubber Sales were instrumental in the company's growth and eventual sale to Myers Tire Supply in 2021, according to Ascot Supply. Paquette eventually was given a promotion to the role of director of operations at Myers Tire Supply.
