Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has launched the Toyo Proxes T1 Sport, a premium UHP summer tire "that delivers increased control and precision for true balance in both wet and dry handling," according to the company.
"State-of-the-art construction and design make this tire a perfect fit for sports sedans and coupes," said Marty Furman, Toyo COO. "Improvements over the Toyo Proxes T1R include better high speed stability, precise steering response, improved braking performance and high cornering power at high speed."
The tire’s cornering performance and straight-line stability are a result of a new “high stiffness” rubber compound and an asymmetric, non-directional tread which features wide outer tread blocks for steering and grip and wide grooves for hydroplaning resistance.
The Toyo Proxes T1 Sport is available in 42 sizes, and comes with a 20,000-mile treadwear warranty.
