Yokohama
Yokohama Tire Corp. will participate in five race series during 2014. “It’s a new year and we are fielding another strong racing lineup,” said Duane Sampson, YTC manager of motorsports.

The tiremaker will serve as the exclusive tire supplier of the Red Bull Global Rallycross series. Additionally, YTC will sponsor the seven-race Lotus Cup USA series for the third consecutive year and sponsor the eight-venue, 16-round Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA.

YTC will also sponsor Formula Drift reigning champion Michael Essa, as well as off-road racing couple Heidi and Cameron Steele. Heidi is a four-time SCORE Class champion and husband, Cameron, is a veteran Trophy Truck driver and two-time SCORE Person of the Year, the tiremaker said.

Maxxis
Maxxis International USA will sponsor Jeremy McGrath in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. “We’re thrilled to have a champion of his caliber aboard and working with us on multiple fronts,” said Brad Williams of Maxxis. “Jeremy’s record of achievement places him on a level few racers ever reach. We know he’ll do well this year in off-road competition. I also know that our engineers are happy that they’ll be working with someone who has such expertise in all aspects of motorcycle performance. We’re very proud to have Jeremy associated with the Maxxis brand.”

McGrath has racked up 12 championships in supercross and motocross, as well as five X Games medals. He was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2003 and the BMX Hall of Fame in 2010. He has turned his attention to short course off-road racing in recent years, and this year debuts his own team, Jeremy McGrath Motorsports.
