Chicago Pneumatic took the SEMA Show to introduce two new impact tools, the CP7735 and the CP7749.
The new 3/8-inch CP7735 offers 300 ft.-lbs. of torque in a lightweight magnesium and composite design. It features a twin hammer clutch for durability and the strength to remove tough fasteners, a three-position regulator and push button forward/reverse.
Weighing 2.55 pounds, the CP7735 is ideal for engine assembly/disassembly, utility vehicle and motorcycle repair, and transmission work, CP said.
The CP7749 is the “first and only ½-inch pneumatic impact wrench with side-to-side (S2S Technology) forward/reverse functionality,” CP claimed.
“The CP7749 is perfectly balanced, light at only 4.37 pounds, and packs a punch with 725 ft. lbs. of torque,” said Brian Dove, senior global product marketing manager for Chicago Pneumatic, which is offering a two-year warranty on the CP7749.
The CP7749 is also available with a two-inch anvil (CP7749-2) for tire removal applications.
