Lakeville Tire & Auto Service in Lakeville, Minn., is the latest tire dealership to join AskPatty.com’s network of Certified Female Friendly Tire and Service Centers. The program was developed jointly by AskPatty.com and Tire Review magazine, and is available to tire retailers across North America.
“Keeping up with today’s automotive industry changes and advancements is very important to us,” said Lakeville Tire’s Mark Allstot. “We are seeing more and more women coming into the shop and making the vehicle repair maintenance decisions. After researching what was available to help us cater to this growing and important segment of our market, we decided to join the AskPatty team, as they are the true leader in this field.”
To become AskPatty.com Certified Female Friendly, staff at Lakeville Tire completed an extensive training program on how to best serve women. Employees will participate in year-round instruction to enhance their awareness, appreciation, and commitment to a female-friendly service experience. Lakeville Tire & Auto Service will also benefit from a unique marketing support program designed to reach out and build lasting relationships with women customers. This includes a female-focused micro-site that provides the tools and resources most requested by women. The micro-site gives women the ability to schedule service appointments, access coupons and discounts, and learn more about car care online from the comfort of their home or office.
Lakeville Tire, an independently owned Goodyear dealer, was established before 1975. In 1995, Willard (Bud) Allstot purchased the business. He retired from working at the business in 2007 and his son Mark now manages the business, along with Mark’s wife Corrine.
Lakeville Tire is a member of the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Lakeville Business Association, the Better Business Bureau, and several automotive organizations. The dealership is a sponsor of many local events and athletic programs and takes part in the community Pan-O-Prog celebration each July, along with the Lakeville Expo each spring.
