Starting June 1, Kumho Tire USA’s latest all-season tour tire, the Solus TA11, is available to consumers. Additionally, the tiremaker’s newest on/off road tire, the Road Venture AT51, is available for U.S. and Canadian dealers to order.
The Solus TA11 features waved sipes and a four groove tread for wet traction and winter handling as well as a special compound for lower rolling resistance, according to Kumho. Available in 44 different sizes covering vehicles from sedans to SUVs, the Solus TA11 offers a 75,000 mile limited warranty and road hazard protection.
Road Venture AT51 is Kumho’s most aggressive styled tire, according to the tiremaker. The tire features tapered tread blocks to promote self-cleaning and is made with a cut resistance compound optimized for strength and heat dispersion, Kumho said.
Additionally, the AT51 meets severe snow ratings and features tread blocks designed to bit on the ice and grip rugged terrain, Kumho said.
The Road Venture is available in 43 P- and LT-metric sizes. The P-metric sizes boast a 55,000 mile limited warranty and the tire is covered by a 30-day satisfaction trail, according to Kumho.
Kumho first unveiled the Solus TA11 and Road Venture AT51 tire during its 2014 dealer meeting as part of the tiremaker’s promise to refresh its product offerings.
