Indy Tire & Auto Service and its nine locations in central Indiana will change its name to “Best-One of Indy” by March 1 to better reflect how it is part of the larger Best-One organization.

Indy Tire has been a member of the Best-One organization for 32 years. Best-One of Indy said in a statement that it is important for customers to understand that the company has not changed from local ownership or management. The company’s website will be updated to reflect the change of name, www.bestoneindy.com.

“We are excited to announce this name change as it will allow our company to promote expansion and provide additional benefits to our team members and customers,” said Rich Elliott, president of Best-One of Indy.

Best-One was founded in 1948 by Paul Zurcher in Monroe, Indiana. Over the past 70 years, it has grown into 250 locations in 26 states. It is one of the largest tire dealers in North America.
