In the promotion, Hankook and CJ’s Tire invited Philadelphia-area customers to a VIP tent at the team’s training facility at Leigh University on Aug. 8, where they enjoyed a lunch and met Eagles players. In addition, CJ’s Tire also partnered with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to host a 9-year-old boy and his family.
“We have 11 stores here in Pennsylvania and we’re an active part of this community,” said Greg Mynaugh, director of sales and operations of CJ’s Tire. “This was our chance to give back to the city of Philadelphia and help make a child’s wish come true.”
CJ’s Tire also gave away a signed helmet and VIP field passes and hosted a ‘tire toss’ event using Hankook tires.
In October, Hankook and CJ’s will partner with the Philadelphia Eagles and Jefferson Hospital to hold an autocross fundraiser, with all of the proceeds going to tackle breast cancer. (Tire Review/Akron)
