Nominations are being accepted through Nov. 29 for the Goodyear Highway Hero Award, which honors truck drivers who put themselves in harm’s way to help others.

Goodyear will announce its next Highway Hero during the 2015 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky. Candidates are narrowed down to four finalists, and a panel of trucking industry media representatives then selects the Highway Hero Award winner.
Nominees must be full-time truck drivers who reside in the U.S. or Canada; the incident must have occurred in the U.S. or Canada while the nominee was on the job or on the way to or from work, and in his/her rig at the time of the incident. The incident must have occurred between Nov. 16, 2013, and Nov. 16, 2014, to qualify for this year’s program.
