Flynn’s Tire Celebrates 18th Retail Store

Flynn's Tire & Auto Service opened its 18th retail location in a converted car dealership in Boardman, Ohio.

Mercer, Pa.-based Flynn’s Tire & Auto Service is celebrating the opening of its 18th retail location, this one in a converted car dealership in Boardman, Ohio.

The store officially opened Nov. 1, and grand opening festivities will continue through the month, according to president Joe Flynn.

The newest location has 10 service bays and a spacious customer waiting area. "We’ve always wanted to be in this area and this store came open and we jumped on it," said Tom Schadl, store manager. The store is a complete auto care center, doing everything but body work.

Flynn’s Tire also has stores in nearby Austintown and Youngstown. "Those who know us will welcome the convenience of this new location, and the new customers we attract are sure to be pleased with our products, prices, service offerings and customer relations," Schadl said.

"We are very proud of this new store and what we have to offer," said Flynn. "We want to change the way people feel about buying tires and automotive services. We know that most people don’t relish the idea of buying tires, so we work hard to make the buying experience at Flynn’s the best it can be. Our waiting area is uniquely comfortable in that it features comfortable seating, HDTV, and free WiFi in a coffee shop-like atmosphere. I think our customers will be pleasantly surprised."

Flynn’s Tire Group also operates four tire warehouses in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and five commercial tire service centers in western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and New York, including a newly acquired location in Buffalo, a new location in Hubbard, Ohio, and a retread tire facility for commercial truck tires located in Dover, Ohio.
