Federal has added the Couragia F/X to its Couragia SUV tire line. The new tire is designed to deliver steering precision, powerful controllability, long mileage and a comfortable ride, the tiremaker said.
The asymmetrical Couragia F/X features a wide and stability-improved footprint; a scuff rib that strengthens the sidewall and protects the rim; and an aggressive tread pattern with stiff, interconnected blocks, Federal said.
The tire’s performance characteristics – short wet and dry braking distances, precise handling and high cornering responsiveness – are designed to meet the requirements of high performance luxury SUVs, including the Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5 and X6, Lexus RX 450h, Cadillac SRX, Mercedes-Benz ML, Audi Q7, and Range Rover Sport.
The Couragia F/X currently is available in V-, W-, and Y-rated sizes ranging from 17- to 20-inch rim diameters.
