The line of executive successor at Titan International is a little clearer today after a pair of significant promotions at the tire and wheel maker yesterday.
William Campbell, who has been president of the company’s Titan Tire unit for the last 12 years, has been elevated to chairman of Titan Tire and executive vice president of the parent company. He will be working with Morry Taylor, chairman and CEO of Titan International, on all recent and future acquisitions.
Steve Briggs, executive vice president of Titan Tire, will take over as president of the unit. According to Titan, Briggs will be “concentrating on his team of managers at the tire plants in Des Moines, Iowa; Freeport, Ill.; and Bryan, Ohio.”
“Titan appreciates the hard work from these gentlemen and looks forward to their leadership roles in the company in the future,” the company said in its press release.
