No moss grew under Paul Fiore’s feet. The former head of government relations for TIA was named director of government affairs for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).
Fiore left TIA in early April in a budget move.
Fiore has more than 27 years experience in the automotive service and repair industry. Besides his seven-year career with TIA, Fiore also served as executive vice president of the Service Station Dealers of America and Allied Trades.
“Paul brings to our association the knowledge, experience and skills in lobbying and government relations to add depth to our ambitious government and regulatory affairs activities,” said Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO. “Paul’s understanding of the aftermarket industry and hands-on involvement in numerous industry issues at the state and federal levels will be invaluable to AAIA’s current and future initiatives to protect and fight battles for our members.”
