Conti Offers ‘Fantastic’ Sweepstakes

(Akron/Tire Review) Continental Tire North America has launched the Continental Tire Power of 4 Sweepstakes, tying in with the DVD release of "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer."

The sweepstakes covers customers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil, CTNA said.

U.S. and Canadian customer buying four Continental tires between Sept. 17 and Jan. 17, 2008, will get a digital picture frame, and will be entered in the "Power of 4 Sweepstakes."

Sweepstakes prizes for U.S. customers include a customized "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" 2007 Dodge Charger, complete with Continental tires and Giovanna Wheels; a custom Gibson guitar; an X-Box 360 and a prize pack; and "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" DVDs.

The grand prize for Canadian customers is a home theater package, CTNA said.

CTNA is supporting the U.S. leg of the sweepstakes with POS displays at some 3,000 Continental tire dealers, magazine ads and an Internet effort.
