Hennessy Industries has unveiled two new Coats brand wheel balancer models – the Coats 1100 Series and Coats 1150-2D.
The Coats 1100 Series features both Coats’ Direct Drive and Static-On-Screen display.
“What makes the 1100 Series models special is the way these two technologies work to provide a fast and accurate balance,” said Kevin Keefe, Hennessy Industries’ vice president of marketing.
According to Hennessy, the Coats Direct Drive system integrates the balancer’s motor and spindle into a single, factory pre-balanced assembly that eliminates all noise. The Coats Direct Drive system results in true zeros, and always means “balanced,” eliminating the need for frequent calibration, the company said.
Static-On-Screen displays both static and dynamic unbalance data simultaneously, allowing a final quality check to identify any excess residual static unbalance, Hennessy said.
The Coats 1100 Series is also fully equipped with a direct balancing mode selection, multiple balancing modes, an auto start hood, a redesigned user interface, a dual operator mode and match balance.
Hennessy said the Coats 1150-2D includes all the features of the 1100 in addition to an automatic distance and diameter data entry. The 1150-2D also features a direct tape-a-weight measurement and behind-the-spoke weight placement, which takes the guesswork out of adhesive weight balance, the company said.
