CITExpo Sees Launch of New Brand, New Company

Atturo Tire Corp. launched its brand and company at this week’s China International Tire Expo in Shanghai.

Its lead product, the Atturo AZ800, is a high performance radial targeting SUVs, CUVs and small pickup trucks.

According to company president Don Mathis, “The Atturo brand was developed to create a premium quality, yet affordable performance tire. We really wanted to bring true performance within reach of the consumer.”

Mathis said the Atturo brand will fit in the “middle of the price range without sacrificing the quality demanded by the performance tire buyer.”

The Atturo AZ800 will initially be available in 15 sizes, including 275/40R20, 315/35R20, 255/50R19 and 285/45R19.

Mathis said Atturo tires are manufactured in Taiwan, and have received “all applicable certifications,” including DOT, E-mark, S-mark and Inmetro certification. The company has sales offices for Australia (Atturo Tyres Australia) and Europe and the Middle East (Atturo Tyre Sales EME), and “exclusive distribution territories are available to qualified dealers on a factory direct basis.”
