A self employed tow truck driver was meeting a customer who needed tires at a Chicago repair shop when he was shot and killed by an armed man that approached him at the front of the store on Dec. 31, 2014.
ABC 7 reported that the man sought cover in the store’s office after he was shot, but was followed inside by the gunman, who wore a black ski mask. The tow truck driver was shot several more times.
According to ABC 7, the auto repair shop has surveillance cameras on the property and there was an employee inside the store at the time of the shooting, but it is unclear if either has helped identify a suspect.
