Bosch’s Automotive Aftermarket Business division is a diamond level sponsors of the Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills competition. The competition is used to mentor future technicians in the automotive service industry.
Bosch field training specialists will provide guidance and mentoring to the more than 12,000 high school students that have entered the competition. In addition, each student at the state level will receive and Actron U-Scan, and those advancing to the national competition will receive a Bosch 12V Max Lithium-Ion cordless combo drill, driver and impact driver kit, donated by Bosch.
The winning teams from each state will compete June 10 at the Ford Motor Company World Headquarters in Dearborn, Mich., for more than $10 million in prize scholarships.
Bosch will also sponsor the competition’s awards dinner and a hospitality suite during the national competition for students and families. Bosch will also be awarding an OTC Encore professional diagnostics tool to three schools at random and three 24-inch Ascenta-Stainless steel dishwashers to families of students attending the national competition.
