This designation places ArvinMeritor among the highest-rated suppliers to the Chrysler Group.

With locations in Limeira, SÃo Paulo, Brazil; San Luis PotosÍ, Mexico; and Detroit, the Wheels business unit supplied five million steel wheels to DaimlerChrysler’s Chrysler Group in 2005, including wheels for many of its popular Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep models.

“It’s an enormous achievement to receive a Chrysler Group Gold Award,” said Juan De La Riva, senior vice president and president of LVS. “This distinction is a testament to the nearly 2,000 employees who passionately produce world-class wheels for all of our customers, every day.”

ArvinMeritor’s LVS business group posted more than $4.8 billion in sales during fiscal year 2005 and employs more than 15,000 people at 73 facilities in 23 countries.
