Aeolus Trail Axle Radial Meets SmartWay Criteria

The Aeolus HN808 has been verified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as meeting its SmartWay fuel efficiency criteria.

Alliance Tire Americas said that its Aeolus HN808 line haul trailer tire has been verified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as meeting its SmartWay fuel efficiency criteria.

“Verification through the SmartWay partnership is another step in Aeolus’ commitment to providing U.S. truckers with tires that help them become more efficient, more profitable and more environmentally sustainable,” said John Hull, national truck tire sales manager for Alliance Tire Americas, the U.S. distributor of the Aeolus brand. “It’s a perfect complement to the Aeolus Green Tire initiative."

The Aeolus HN808 is available in a range of sizes, including 11R22.5, 11R24.5, 285/75R24.5 and 295/75R22.5.

Turbo Wholesale Tires recently held its annual open house event, where it introduced the new Lexani Volt-EC EV tire. However, as any of the hundreds of people in attendance will tell you, the event included much more than a tire launch. After registration, guests entered Turbo's new tire-filled warehouse, with half the space set aside for the tire companies and dealers, food and drinks, games and stage with a nearby pile of 89 prizes worth over $25,000.
