Michelin Taking Winter Driving Lessons to the People

Michelin Canada will host a day-long event for safe winter driving instruction tomorrow at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal.

Michelin Canada is holding a special winter driving instruction opportunity for Quebecers tomorrow.

Richard Spénard, a professional driver and driving instructor for Michelin Canada, will make a stop in Montreal to demonstrate how to drive safely on winter roads, no matter the weather conditions or driver personality.

The day-long event – 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. – will be held at Parc Jean-Drapeau, near the Jacques-Cartier Bridge in the city. The driving instruction will be done on an appointment basis.

Michelin Canada is also offering winter driving tips on its Facebook page – facebook.ca/michelincanada – and at a special winter driving tip website – michelinwintercenter.com.

Continental is celebrating the anniversaries of three tire manufacturing plants in the United States in 2024: five years in Clinton, Miss.; 10 years in Sumter, S.C. and 50 years in Mount Vernon, IL. With an annual production capacity of more than 16 million tires and a team of more than 6,700 local manufacturing employees, Continental said it has invested more than $1.5 billion in its American tire manufacturing operations.
