Aftersoft Happy With Show Response

Tire dealer software maker Aftersoft Network N.A. reported that it had a "successful" appearance at the recent SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo.

"We had two significant announcements for the show, and both were very well received," said John Fischer, vice president of sales and marketing.

"The new smartphone app for our VAST Enterprise software provides real time reporting of sales information, allowing data to be filtered by individual branches and even by salesperson,” he said. “Compatible with Apple iOS and Android devices, the app complements and extends the functionality of VAST and keeps managers in the loop wherever they are."

In addition, Aftersoft debuted the latest version of its VAST Enterprise system, which includes several “enhancements.”

"Carquest WebLink and Autozone’s eCatalog are now integrated with VAST Enterprise Retail,” Fisher said, “providing shop locations with the ability to purchase products electronically when doing outside purchases and stock replenishment. This latest release also allows ‘quick quotes’ issued over the phone to be delivered directly to the customer in the same way. A corporate office user can now initiate real time transfer of inventory between branches, and enhancements to the user interface ensure that all monitor sizes will now display at full screen.”
