Yokohama Takes Rubber to Dealers in Training Program

Yokohama Tire Corp. is continuing its 10-city tour to give local tire dealers real-world experience driving on its performance and passenger tires.

Next on deck for the dealer training program are stops in Anaheim, Calif., Sept. 13-14 and in San Diego Sept. 21-22.

According to Shawn Denlein, Yokohama director of consumer tire sales, “the training program offers our dealers an opportunity to learn about our products and test them on various slalom-type courses, while providing the knowledge they need to advise consumers. We want dealers to see firsthand what the tires can do so they can translate this knowledge to their customers.”

Dealers have the opportunity to drive Yokohama’s Advan Neova AD08, Avid ENVigor, Avid S.drive and the Avid Touring S.

Previous events occurred in St. Louis; Chicago; Salem, Va.; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; Minneapolis and Seattle. The tour began in Oklahoma City, Okla.
