Bintang Ramai Sdn., in partnership with Continental Sime Tyre Sdn. (CST), opened the first BestDrive passenger car and light truck center in East Malaysia.
The new branch, reports Tyres & Accessories, is the 16th BestDrive in Malaysia, but the first in Eastern Malaysia.
According to Benoit Henry, CEO of CST, the BestDrive center empowers the company’s partners with the opportunity to use its brand to position themselves as uniform, specialized tire dealers catering for the premium customer segment. CST aims to offer expertise and advice for the setup of a premium BestDrive shop concept, shop layout and customer-friendly tire changing and car service environment.
Henry added that in these times of economic turmoil, it is of the highest importance to be equipped with the best tools available in the markets. “This is exactly what we are aiming to do with our dealers and all the development programs we are running. With BestDrive, you will be best equipped in all senses of the word.”
Bintang Ramai offers a range of Continental, Dunlop and Sime Tyres brands. Bintang Ramai started their first tire retailing business in 1979 in a rented shop lot, handling all sorts of tires. They became a member of the BestDrive network earlier this year. The group currently has a total of four outlets.
