New ‘Safe and Simple’ Tyre Changer from Beissbarth

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) A new tyre changer for low profile, run-flat tyres and wide wheels reportedly offers safe and simple tyre changing, even for the most difficult tyre rim combinations.

Beissbarth is launching the MS67 tyre changer, designed to meet the ever-present health and safety regulations, and provide a fast and efficient service for technicians and customers.

A key safety feature is the MS67’s pneumatic lift, which raises the tyre onto the table without the fitter having to lift the heavy wheel and tyre assembly. This ensures that the manual handling of tyre and wheel assemblies is kept to a minimum. Operational advantages include a fast and precise hydraulic unit for simultaneous braking of both beads, even with hardest run-flat tyres.

Effortless handling is made possible by the central control unit and simple wheel clamping by a centrering flange, said Beissbarth. A quick air filler is part of the standard delivery package as well as a profiled mounting lever.

Beissbarth UK’s managing director, Philip Hodges, said: “By introducing this new model to the renowned Servomat range we are continuing to set new standards, utilise best practice and deliver the finest technology in tyre-changers. This latest addition means that we now offer 20 different models within the tyre changer range.

“We are confident that within the Servomat series there is a tyre changer to suit all businesses, whatever their size. Investing in the best available technology is the surest route to increase efficiency, retain customers and maximise profits.”

Beissbarth manufactures and distributes test lanes, brake testers, lifts, tyre changers, air conditioning service units, wheel balancers, headlight testers and most famously wheel alignment equipment for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Seat and a host of many others. Beissbarth reportedly holds the highest number of manufacturers’ approvals.
