Tires Plus Launches Revamped Web Site

(Akron/Tire Review) Tires Plus Total Car Care has launched a new version of its Web site, which now includes online appointments, instant tire quotes and information on car maintenance, repairs and tires.

The site – located at www.tiresplus.com – offers educational information on tune-ups, tires, oil changes, air-conditioner repair, and more, said the tire retailer, which is owned and operated by Morgan Tire & Auto Inc., part of Bridgestone/Firestone Retail & Commercial Operations.

“Our goal was to create an easy-to-use site that implements suggestions we’ve received from our guests,” said Bill Ardiff, director of advertising and Internet marketing for Tires Plus. “As with many major purchases, we’ve found that customers simply want to research the product, get a quote, and make an appointment to get it done. We think TiresPlus.com will help turn something most drivers consider a chore into a positive customer service experience.”

In addition to scheduling online appointments and getting instant tire quotes, customers can also sign up for e-mail service reminders as well as notifications of promotions and discounts.

Other features of the new site include store locators, credit-card information and online coupons.
