Cut Out the Waiting With Harvie

(Staffordshire, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Harvie Tyres’ attendance at Brityrex coincided with the release of the company’s brand new 84-page catalogue.

This new and larger catalogue reflects Harvie’s ongoing commitment to expanding their product range, and the 2007 edition contains more than 1,300 items with many new offerings including wheel aligners, balancers, tyre changers and alignment lifts. A number of these products are the fruit of a recent supplier partner arrangement deal negotiated between Harvie and Pro-Align, and make a valuable addition to the Prema range of tyre repair equipment and kits that Harvie has become so well known for, plus a wide selection of Trax lead-free balance weights, valves, bead lubricants, air line equipment and tools of every description.

And, while Harvie’s product line-up may be bigger and better than ever, the company has also developed a name as a company that can deliver the goods promptly. As a representative from Harvie Prema explained “our fleet of 12 vans can supply perhaps about 90 per cent of everything our customers may want, without having to wait. Pretty much anything else can be delivered on a next day basis.” Alternatively, mainland UK trade customers can access Harvie Prema’s online shop www.tyretools.co.uk and also enjoy next-day delivery.

Harvie believes Brityrex to be an important platform for meeting customers in a highly competitive UK market, and used the exhibition as an opportunity to demonstrate what they had to offer and discuss how they can meet the needs of existing and potential new customers. Managing director Terry Brooks commented “It was important to put Harvie in front of their customers. As a serious and well qualified player in our industry there is a customer expectation that they can come along to the only UK show and see a diversity of important suppliers along side their competition. The pace of change within our industry drives a need for updated knowledge and Brityex is a good platform to spend some quality time dealing with customers’ more detailed questions and in an atmosphere where they are more focused.”

As Brooks told Tyres & Accessories, Harvie remains committed to providing top-rate service and products, vital qualities at a time when retail and fleet service providers are looking for supplier partners that take customer needs seriously through the provision of products, service and skill sharing that is consistently good at a competitive yet fair price. These words were seconded by sales manager Mark Prince: ”Harvie Prema has much to offer on a national basis in the field of tyre and wheel accessories and consumables, and is equipped to continue with its aggressive marketing approach as a preferred supplier partner, particularly to independent comprehensive, fast fit and fleet customers. Furthermore it is our intention to enhance customer service and develop attainable pricing targets in line with our customers expectations.”
