Marangoni Aims to Take Tuning Market by Storm

Marangoni has announced major sponsorship deals with Santa Pod Raceway at Autosport International 2008.

This begins with Marangoni being title sponsor of the first major tuning show of 2008, The Fast Show on March 9, then associate sponsor of Jap Show on June 22. Marangoni will then be title sponsor of 3-day USC tuning show August 1 – 3.

Marangoni is making its debut appearance at Autosport International in association with Santa Pod Raceway in Stand 12790 in the ‘Piston Head Halls’ (11 and 12). Highlighting the Marangoni presence will be the sensational headline-grabbing Progetto Marangoni Toyota Yaris that has uniquely linked the go-faster, tuning and enthusiast markets directly with a leading European tyre manufacturer. Bridgestone invests in Yoshi Mobility to expand into virtual inspection, EV charging

Yoshi is also commercializing its mobile EV charging platform to address EV fleet charging challenges.

Yoshi Mobility recently closed its $26 million Series C funding round. The round includes strategic investors General Motors Ventures and Bridgestone Americas, as well as international investors Universal Motors Agencies and Shikra Limited. Launched out of Y Combinator in 2016, the company is also backed by ExxonMobil, DN Automotive, NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, and NFL legend Joe Montana. Yoshi Mobility has raised more than $60 million to date. In addition to scaling its core business, the company said Series C funding enables it to expand three new business lines: preventative maintenance, virtual vehicle inspections and electric vehicle (EV) charging.
