Five Coats Tire Changers Make SEMA Debut

Hennessy Industries make a SEMA Show splash with the introduction of its new line of Coats Heavy Duty (CHD) Series tire changers.

The Coats CHD-9551,CHD-9043, CHD-9041, CHD-6330 and CHD-4730 models “make up the most completeline of Euro-style heavy duty tire changers available on today’s market,” saidthe company.

The CHD-9551 tire changer isthe top-of-the-line changer offered by Coats and is designed for high-volumeshops, Hennessy said. “Offering users the most automated features and widestrange of fittings in the CHD line, this model makes it easy to tackle thetoughest super-single, skidder, agricultural and off-road tires available. Anoptional wireless remote gives the freedom to move around the machine withoutbulky cables,” the company reported.

Designed for busy shopsservicing a large range of fitments, the Coats CHD-9043 tire changer “is idealwhen dealing with a variety of applications and large wheel fitments,” Hennessysaid. The unit features a remote controlled, hydraulically operated tool arm toincrease turnaround time, and a single-piece frame for increased capacity anddurability. 

The Coats CHD-9041 tirechanger targets moderate to high-volume shops and fleets with varying fitments.Its extended capacity four-jaw chuck allows for use on a large range ofapplications and features an open frame design for easy wheel movement,Hennessy said. 

Designed for shops that needeasy-to-use equipment, the Coats CHD-6330 tire changer is the most compact ofthe jaw-style clamping machines available today, the company claimed. Theunit’s floating jaws match wheel contours for grip and safety, and the four-jawchuck allows for fast and easy clamping of virtually all wheel styles includingde-mountable, reverse and standard disc, and off-road style wheels.

Finally, the Coats CHD-4730tire changer targets smaller fleets and tire shops, with a compact design foruse in tight areas, and swing-arm mounted controls for easy use. (Tire Review/Akron)
