BITS Presents Regal, Roadstone Private Brands

Each brand contains a wide range of patterns for a number of applications: Regal has a UHP product, a TR-rated passenger tyre and a van tyre, while the Roadstone range features many off-road options, in addition to its road-going tyres.

Dunlop Tyres in South Africa, manufacturer of the Regal brand, is part of India-based Apollo Group. BITS says that the whole range meets the E-Marking, DOT and INMETRO ratings. The flagship of the range is the Premium Comfort, which aims for quiet performance alongside superior handling. The Regal stable also includes a van tyre manufactured with a “Shield” breaker, which provides improved puncture resistance and offers long tread life. The range is completed by the RST 220 manufactured in TR rating and offering excellent wet and dry handling and long mileage. Regal can be ordered exclusively from the sole U.K. distributor, BITS.

The Roadstone range includes the SB702 pattern, which combines a focus on grip and fuel economy.
The HR and VR range is catered for by the N2000 pattern, which features symmetrical grooves to maximise drainage and provide excellent grip and mileage. The UHP tyre, the N3000, has a narrow centre rib design for high speed driving performance and a shoulder design to upgrade cornering ability. It is manufactured in W and Y speed ratings.

Meanwhile, its 4×4 tyres cover a wide range with the Roadian HP SUV suitable for the likes of the X5, Freelander and the XC90, which demand tyre performance equaling that of performance cars. The Roadian A/T, HT and A/T Neo are more aggressive patterns. They feature a wide channel design to help with traction and a twin block design to upgrade durability and road control. Ascot Supply Corporation, based in Newnan, Georgia, has selected Mark Paquette for the newly created position of vice president. In this position, Ascot Supply said Paquette will oversee the growth of the company's products, corporate profitability, manage marketing and advertising and assume many other responsibilities.

He will work under the direction of current President David Kessler and officially begin his new role on June 3. Paquette joined the tire and automotive industry in the early 1980s at his father's tire shop, and his contributions to Mohawk Rubber Sales were instrumental in the company's growth and eventual sale to Myers Tire Supply in 2021, according to Ascot Supply. Paquette eventually was given a promotion to the role of director of operations at Myers Tire Supply.
