Continental Tire Announces June Promotion

From June 1 through June 30, consumers who purchase four qualifying passenger Continental tires will receive a $70 Visa prepaid card.

From June 1 through June 30, consumers who purchase four qualifying passenger Continental tires will receive a $70 Visa prepaid card.

Among the qualifying passenger tires is Continental’s latest ultra-high performance offering, the ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus premium all-season tire for passenger cars, crossovers and SUVs, ranging in size from 16-22″ rim diameter.

Also included in the June promotion is the ExtremeContact Sport, an ultra-high performance summer tire for passenger cars. Continental’s all-season touring tires, the PureContact LS and TrueContact Tour, are also eligible for the promotion, as well as many other passenger tire options.

Bridgestone invests in Yoshi Mobility to expand into virtual inspection, EV charging

Yoshi is also commercializing its mobile EV charging platform to address EV fleet charging challenges.

Yoshi Mobility recently closed its $26 million Series C funding round. The round includes strategic investors General Motors Ventures and Bridgestone Americas, as well as international investors Universal Motors Agencies and Shikra Limited. Launched out of Y Combinator in 2016, the company is also backed by ExxonMobil, DN Automotive, NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, and NFL legend Joe Montana. Yoshi Mobility has raised more than $60 million to date. In addition to scaling its core business, the company said Series C funding enables it to expand three new business lines: preventative maintenance, virtual vehicle inspections and electric vehicle (EV) charging.
