Continental OE on Roush P-51 Mustang

Continental Tire the Americas’ ExtremeContact Sport has been chosen as the sole fitment for the new, Roush P-51 Mustang.

Continental Tire the Americas’ ExtremeContact Sport has been chosen as the sole fitment for the new, Roush P-51 Mustang.

“We are honored that Roush has chosen the ExtremeContact Sport for the P-51 Mustang,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing for Continental Tire the Americas. “The words Roush and performance are synonymous and we are proud to have engineered a performance tire that meets the expectations of Roush and its customers.”

Only 51 2017 Roush P-51 Mustangs will be built. The car will be fitted with Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires (295/35ZR19).

Bridgestone invests in Yoshi Mobility to expand into virtual inspection, EV charging

Yoshi is also commercializing its mobile EV charging platform to address EV fleet charging challenges.

Yoshi Mobility recently closed its $26 million Series C funding round. The round includes strategic investors General Motors Ventures and Bridgestone Americas, as well as international investors Universal Motors Agencies and Shikra Limited. Launched out of Y Combinator in 2016, the company is also backed by ExxonMobil, DN Automotive, NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, and NFL legend Joe Montana. Yoshi Mobility has raised more than $60 million to date. In addition to scaling its core business, the company said Series C funding enables it to expand three new business lines: preventative maintenance, virtual vehicle inspections and electric vehicle (EV) charging.
