Forward Lift Offers DP18 Two-Post Lift

Forward Lift has introduced the new DP18 two-post lift to provide shops the versatility and durability to service a wide range of vehicles.

Forward Lift has introduced the new DP18 two-post lift to provide shops the versatility and durability to service a wide range of vehicles. The DP18 two-post lift can handle anything from cars to medium-duty trucks and buses weighing up to 18,000 pounds.

“The 18,000-lb. capacity of the new DP18 two-post lift is perfect for shop owners who want to expand service capabilities to include Class 4 medium-duty vehicles,” said John Uhl, director of light-duty product management for Forward Lift parent company Vehicle Service Group. “Shops of all sizes can count on years of service from this durably built and competitively priced lift, enabling them to increase shop productivity and profitability.”

The new heavy-duty, low profile two-stage arms – along with lightweight adapter extensions – allow technicians to easily spot and lift vehicles, Forward Lift said. Additionally, the two-stage arms provide 38- to 61-inch reach. The lift’s symmetrical columns are constructed of high-strength heavy-gauge steel and mounted on strong base plate foundations.

The lift is also equipped with four 5-inch and four 10-inch aircraft-grade aluminum truck adaptor extensions, which are stored in a column bracket.

Direct-Pull Lift Technology replaces common push cylinders in the lift columns with direct-pull cylinders. Additional features on the Forward Lift DP18 two-post lift include a single-point lock release and a closed-loop hydraulic system. Optional door guards are also available.

The Forward Lift DP18 two-post lift is available in three height packages and can be purchased through most national auto parts retailers and authorized Forward Lift distributors.
