Omni United will display six new products for American drivers at this year’s SEMA Show.
The new tires on display include:
The Dimax 4 Season run-flat, designed for passenger cars and SUVs, has been developed and certified for European winter and summer conditions and all sizes have the 3PMSF certification. A three peak mountain snowflake symbol branded on the tire’s sidewall identifies tires that meet the required performance in snow testing, according to the tiremaker.
Designed for high performance cars and SUVs, the Dimax R8+ run-flat is a segment of the new UHP summer tire range from Radar. This line incorporates more than 30 of the most popular run-flat sizes covering most of the market of vehicles that fit run-flats as OE. The line is speed rated up to Y, a first in the value tire segment, Omni noted.
The Renegade AT5 all-season SUV/LT tire features stone ejector technology for all terrains and offers drivers off-road performance while maintaining on-road capabilities, the tiremaker said. The AT5 includes a 40,000-mile warranty in the U.S.
The Dimax AS8 is designed for passenger cars, CUVs/SUVs and UHP applications, and offers a combination of traction, precise handling and exceptional mileage that makes it the ideal choice for drivers looking for high performance and total assurance in all seasons, according to Omni. The Dimax AS8 includes a 50,000-60,000 mileage warranty in the U.S.
The Argonite 4 Season van tire is 3PMSF approved and performs well in any kind of weather from snow, slush and rain to dry summer conditions, the tiremaker said. The RoadLux R701 is an all-position tire that is designed to tackle the harshest winter conditions. Omni said The R701 has a staggered deep tread block design with full lateral blading and five wide grooves to enhance its ability to provide excellent ice and snow traction on both highway and off-road applications. The tread has stone ejectors to resist rock drilling and a sidewall protector rib to provide added protection for excessive curbing damage.
In addition to the New Product Showcase, Omni United will display at its booth (#43199) new products, as well as a customized 2016 Urban Warrior Land Rover Defender sporting a set of Radar Renegade A/T 285/70R17 tires mounted on custom 17-inch wheels.
