Gates Kicks Off Three Promo Programs

Gates Corp. has launched its automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket marketing programs and promotions for 2016.

This year’s plan will include three targeted promotional programs designed to support Gates’ core product lines, increase brand awareness, and drive business growth, the company said.

The Serpentine system promotion for automotive car and light truck professional service centers is designed to stimulate higher ticket sales and increase customer satisfaction with a complete and preventive serpentine system repair, Gates said.  Professional service centers will also be able to earn Visa prepaid cards for additional component installation.  The promotion runs now through July 31, 2016.

The heavy-duty dealer stock-up promotion for fleets is designed to increase awareness of the value of a complete system repair by inspecting and replacing components at the same time, while giving fleets the opportunity to receive a stock-up incentive, Gates said. The promotion runs now through July 31, 2016.

The partnership program for automotive and heavy-duty warehouse distributor and jobber representatives gives channel representatives tools to help them develop business with Gates products and to receive rewards for their commitment, Gates said.  Participating representatives can win up to $12,000 in cash prizes, including Visa prepaid cards and a home theater system drawing.  The promotion runs now through Oct. 31, 2016.
