Atlanta-based Kauffman Tire plans to move its corporate headquarters from Ellenwood, Ga., to Sandy Springs, Ga., located north of Atlanta in Fulton County, by the summer of 2016.
The new headquarters is more than 25,000 square feet and features a more modern layout with better visibility and a “corporate support center,” according to Kauffman. The support center will hold departments including the executive leadership team, finance and accounting, human resources, information technology, accounts payable, purchasing, real estate and inventory management.
The original headquarters location will operate as a distribution center and training facility.
The tire dealership’s corporate headquarters has been located in the Atlanta area since 1975. Kauffman Tire has 57 retail locations in Georgia and Florida and 14 distribution centers in seven states.
