Conti Named 2015 GM Supplier of the Year

GMSupplieroftheYearAwardGeneral Motors honored Continental AG with the 2015 General Motors Supplier of the Year award during its 24th annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony in Detroit, Mich. This is the first time Continental’s tire segment has received the award.

“We are extremely proud and honored to receive this award, it is an excellent reflection of our partnership with GM,” said Enno Straten, Conti’s vice president, key account management for the business unit original equipment PLT. “Our team has been persistently working to provide the highest quality tires with innovative features to complement GM’s great products. And today we are even more motivated to shift our efforts to the next level being able to tackle all upcoming challenges of the automotive industry together with GM.”

A global team of GM executives selected winning suppliers based on performance criteria in product purchasing, indirect purchasing, customer care and aftersales, and logistics.
