Kevin Burke has joined Tire Discounters as the dealership’s new senior vice president of finance and treasurer.
Tire Discounters’ accounting and finance departments are growing in order to keep up with the company’s expansion, the dealership said. The dealership has been aggressively expanding its footprint over the past few years. Burke will oversee the dealership’s entire finance and accounting functions.
“Kevin is incredibly talented and we are lucky to have him join our team,” said Paul Brunner, Tire Discounters CEO. “His background of broad financial experience will undoubtedly help the effort to improve our operations.”
Burke has had nearly three-decades in the financial industry. Most recently he worked as senior vice president and chief financial officer for the Aurora Casket Co. Over his career he’s also worked as internal auditor, controller and vice president of finance for several companies including Eaton, Dana Corp. and Crane.
Tire Discounters currently employs 1,100 people in 100 stores across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. The company is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
